I’d choose the 5600x since it feels more stable for me (I own an AMD system), though they’re quite alike. In the end, both are solid options.

They likely suggest the i7 since the 5600x is out of stock. Go with the 5600x—it’s essentially a 10700k lower in cores and threads compared to the 300.

I have it locally, so performance shouldn't vary due to RAM. I've heard that a faster RAM helps the AMD CPU run better.

Prices are currently favorable, making a 10600KF an attractive option. A budget B460 board and a 3200mhz cl16 16GB kit would significantly reduce costs compared to a 5600x+B550 board. Whether the 5600x is just a regional difference depends on your location.
