Most battlefield titles are discounted right now, with prices dropping about 95% off. Since I haven’t played a battlefield game before, I’m curious whether it’s a good idea and which one to choose. The differences between them aren’t clear yet.
Battlefield 4 stands out as the first in the list. It takes place in today's world, keeping many players engaged across numerous servers. Battlefield 1 holds a special place for me; I spent close to 7000 hours playing it. Set during World War 1, its gameplay is top-notch, runs smoothly, and offers some of the most appealing visuals I've seen. Despite being released in 2016, it delivers outstanding destruction effects. Battlefield 5 isn't my top pick; it's set in World War 2 with great gunplay and impressive destruction mechanics, though it didn't quite resonate with me. I recommend getting BF4 and BF1.
Do you enjoy war FPS titles such as Call of Duty? Many Battlefield players will say the game is entirely different and far superior to Call of Duty—my college roommate was one of those fans. If you're already a fan of war FPS games, though, you'll likely have your own take. At its heart, it's a first-person shooter. If you like games like Halo and Doom but prefer something more realistic, you'll probably appreciate them. For just two dollars, you're getting a great deal.
Bf5 is largely ignored and not recommended. Bf1 suits fans of WWI themes. Bf4 is regarded as one of the top classic battles developed, though it has a smaller but still engaged community. It appears there are more players than on newer maps, indicating that EA hasn't created a strong replacement yet :p.
I mainly enjoy CS2 in FPS titles, maybe just purchase one or four if people recommend it.
I would mention BF1, because for just 3 to 5 euros you receive a nice WW story and graphics.
The gameplay is quite strong; I probably only played a bit of BF1, but I watched the trailer many times.
Absolutely fascinating! The visuals and lighting in Battlefield 1 are impressive, even though it's nearly a decade old. Battlefield 4 launched in 2013 and remains solid. I didn’t connect as strongly with that title compared to earlier ones. Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1 have become my main focus, spending around 3000 hours on Hell Let Loose. It’s an intense WWII simulation.
