Your antivirus (Malwarebytes) identified certain files on your Windows system labeled as "Riskware." The Malwarebytes site indicated these might be associated with a pirated operating system, though you downloaded a non-activated version from the official Microsoft site.

Don't stress about it. I don't currently suggest MalewareBytes anymore; Windows Defender now covers most needs well.

It seems like you're wondering if Microsoft is installing some kind of security software on your computer.

defender tends to give a lot of false alarms, mwb seems more trustworthy. I believe the best mix is mwb (free) plus defender—this combo works well. *The paid version feels too intrusive and actually hurts performance, which is why you need defender for real-time tasks.* That’s a bit unclear, though. Do you still have the files? If so, please upload some to Virustotal and check what it reports.

I isolated it but don’t know how to submit it to Virustotal.
