You're already running a solid setup with your Ryzen 7 2700 and RTX 3060. With 32GB RAM and ample storage, you likely have enough performance for now. Upgrading the CPU isn't strictly necessary unless you notice significant bottlenecks or plan to run demanding games. If you're comfortable spending around $300, consider a mid-range option like the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i5-13600K for better future-proofing without breaking the bank.
It seems to relate to setting a resolution. If you're using 1440p, it should work well. Begin your regular game and monitor CPU and GPU activity. Edited September 27, 2023 by leclod
It seems you're comparing two monitors—your 1440p one and your 1080p one. You might want to clarify what you're looking for!
Modern titles often face challenges maintaining 30fps at 3060 even with higher resolutions and less powerful CPUs. Keep in mind, Ryzen didn't reach comparable performance to Intel's Skylake until the 3000 series. The Ryzen 2000 runs on Haswell.
