I've been playing for roughly two months now? Around 235 hours... super engaging and thrilling when you reach the top 10.
I don’t have any top-tier titles like that (my rig’s pretty basic, but I’m getting a new one soon), though I’ve got Overwatch on PC and console and it’s really fun. It’s a bit pricey, but I’ll keep an eye on it. Mostly, I’m thinking about getting a bunch of budget games (Dishonored, Kindergarten, Insurgency, etc.) and I’d really enjoy that.
Overwatch isn't the most enjoyable experience. Are you looking for alternatives? I don't know if they're indie titles.
Green Man Gaming is worth checking out. I'm in NZ and found it under $40. If you're into Overwatch, it's a good pick. Paladins is another solid option if you're into that style. It's free, fun, and you won't lose money once you get hooked. I agree with the PUBG recommendation too—it's intense and really engaging.
Insurgency resembles a CSGO-style experience, yet it appears developers treat it with more care than necessary. Kindergarten offers an enjoyable, lighthearted experience focused on 8-bit nostalgia, where you repeatedly face the same Monday trying to make different decisions. Seems entertaining. Dishonored is a popular title from Bethesda, essentially a versatile murder mystery where you can approach killing targets in various ways, as long as the game permits. Swarm of rats? Proceed. A knife to the testicular sack? Sounds intense. There are many other budget-friendly titles, including Life is Strange and Just Cause 3. You might want to look in the under $5 range for some interesting options.
