Even though MSI laptops are quite well constructed (they own a GT60 2OD), avoid overclocking them. These devices are designed close to their limits, so I often have to turn on the fan turbo boost while gaming. There’s very little space left for any adjustments. Being a laptop and all the components packed inside makes it difficult to keep things cool.

I don't think most laptops would overheat during operation, which could worsen stuttering.
