Hi everyone
I've had my PC for about a year and keep it in good shape. I was thinking about overclocking my GTX 1050 Ti. I also have an i5 7400 with 3.0ghz and 8GB of RAM. My question is, if I do the overclock now, how much time will pass before my GPU fails compared to not doing it? Thanks to all who reply.

The 1050ti offers a good margin for performance tweaks. If you notice it isn't meeting your needs in-game, try it out. It's mainly useful for boosting synthetic scores or epeen points. As long as you manage temperatures, it shouldn't be too affected by the work.

It can operate for many years with overclocking, provided you don't push it too far.

I wouldn't bother for a small gain.
Graphics card makers make sense by overclocking.
They discard their chips and offer better ones in factory-optimized versions that cost more.
However, you might be lucky—give it an overclock a try and check if it actually improves your performance.
If you discover you require greater graphics power, consider selling the GTX1050ti and purchasing a more capable card.

Thank you for the assistance.
I believe I can wait a few years before considering purchasing a new PC.
