The Steam Summer Sale ended a day ago, and now I'm unsure which game to choose since many others are also deciding what to buy. Since I'm new to this, I'm looking for suggestions. I don’t have much prior knowledge, so I’m here to ask for advice. If you’re reading this, check out the games I play and think about one that isn’t on this list but suits your interests.
Destiny – I enjoy first-person shooters, even though this one isn’t for PC. I appreciate the chance to craft my own character and follow a story that helps me progress through raids and PvP. I also like grinding for equipment with others, even if it means spending over 400 hours. The variety of weapons and abilities makes it exciting to play in different scenarios. Graphics are solid too.
Blade and Soul / Black Desert Online – This game offers deep character customization, a strong grinding and leveling system, diverse cosmetics and weapons to collect. The open world feels organic, with clans and groups supporting each other. Different classes provide unique advantages in various situations. Regular updates bring new areas, weapons, and classes, keeping the experience fresh. Graphics are impressive.
An MMORPG that uses the mouse instead of a mousepad for movement – it’s more intuitive. CS:GO / Overwatch – These are team-based shooters with competitive matches. I prefer Overwatch for its character customization options, which let you tailor your avatar to your taste. Both games offer thrilling PvP moments that make for memorable experiences. Working together with teammates and relying on cooperation often wins the game.
GTA V / PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds – These open-world titles let you shape your character freely, with survival mechanics and a focus on skill and effort.
