I am planning some components but unsure if there are other comparable parts within the same budget. Please help me.

The Intel platform is nearly finished. The am5 platform will still work until 2027 according to AMD. That means you should consider upgrading your CPU within a couple of years.

What are the options for the monitor? The 2K model (Gigabyte M27Q) or 1080p (Benq Ex240)? With prices similar, and upscaling becoming common today.

I personally chose the 1440p monitor. It was one of the top visual improvements I made, and you might not need much upscaling.
It’s hard to say for sure, but I’m confident this is the model I’m using and I’m satisfied with it.

The MSI one performs well, offering vibrant colors and reduced response and motion blur during gaming.

Can’t speak to all it, but you can check reviews on Newegg using the link I shared. I had a VA panel monitor before, and after connecting the MSI, the colors really looked better. The MSI is also an IPS panel, so it should share some similar traits with the Gigabyte model. Not that the Gigabyte is a poor option, just that I’ve been satisfied with the MSI so far. I’d also recommend this review: there might be some variations, but I think the one reviewed in the article was an older version of the model linked. It should give you a general sense.

Persoanally, I wouldn't touch an Intel CPU at this time. 7600 is a good CPU. When I was waiting for for my 4070ti 16GB super, I love the fact AMD 9000 series has onboard starter graphics like my 9900x does. Great for new builds and newbs.

AMD is the choice I’m considering. I’m more focused on the 9600 model, hoping its price reaches around 7600x, though I’m uncertain about its availability at nearby stores. The 7600 isn’t in stock, but the 7600x is.

Similar suggestions are being shared, but at this point I’d choose the AMD 7600. I’ll outline several upgrade paths later. If you can afford it, a Cl30 6000mhz build would be worth considering, though the gain might not be significant. 1440p is also a solid choice. Most mid-range GPUs (4070 / 7800xt and above) will provide a great experience at this resolution, with DLSS/FSR available for demanding titles. I currently use two LG GP850P units, which have been excellent, though they seem to be no longer in production. With the upcoming GPU releases, I’ll evaluate performance and choose what fits best in a few more weeks—both AMD and Nvidia models. Do you already own the PSU, and is it from an older system?
