you're looking for a new cooler if you're experiencing problems. otherwise, it's not necessary to replace your current one. for heavy workloads, models like the Noctua D15 or Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 work well, though they might be too much for a 2700x. i personally use a Cryo H7 and it handles high stress without overheating, usually staying between 4-4.3 ghz during normal gaming.

If your CPU is idle at 39°C, you're in a great spot. In fact, it performs better than many others, with your unit running around the high 40°C to low 50°C range. If you're interested in checking temperatures with the stock cooler, it might be worth trying—just make sure you have enough thermal paste to possibly reapply it twice. Right now, there are no problems, so keeping the stock cooler as a backup makes sense, especially if your current one ever fails. That's exactly what I did.
