The most effective method involves using built-in tools like regedit, but modern alternatives exist. Consider checking the registry or third-party utilities for a smoother solution in 2024.

The traditional regedit method functions well, but Nirsoft's ShellMenuView offers a cleaner alternative.

Used ShellMenuView to eliminate bothersome features such as VLC context menu changes. I’d really like to remove options like casting to devices, the ‘send to’ menu, restoring previous versions, sharing files, and Windows Defender scanning. Probably stuck trying to fix registry issues.
