Consider using a router in switch mode and as a Wi-Fi modem.
Modem cable connects to TP-Link WR940N for downstairs and to WR841N upstairs. My Android TV is on 940N, while my PC uses 841N. This setup prevents casting from PC to TV and WDS bridging due to weak signal. Can I adjust the 841N so both devices share the same network while keeping WiFi from 841N?
Avoid using the port on device 841. It seems you might have two layers of NAT causing issues.
