Consider upgrading your RAM if you plan to use a Ryzen processor. Your current setup has 32GB of DDR4 at 2400MHz, but faster RAM can improve performance. Check if your CPU supports higher speeds and whether the upgrade would benefit your system.

Your existing RAM might not perform well with overclocking. Switching to a faster type would be a good idea. DDR4 3200 is relatively affordable.

Are you asking about the quantity of sticks—do you have four or two? If it's four, I might think about keeping them. :3

I’d prefer quicker RAM definitely. But I wouldn’t choose the 3700x unless you’re in a hurry right now. Just hold off and consider the 4th generation Ryzen next time.

Seek a 4x4 with 3200MHz or 3000MHz specs unless you intend to overclock aggressively x-x
