Hello everyone, I'm planning a CPU upgrade soon and need to choose between Ryzen 5 models. I've considered the 5600G, 5600, and 5600X. Are there significant differences between them? Specifically, is the X model notably better than the G or are they almost identical?

The 5600 accommodates PCIe Gen 3, while the 5600x tends to be pricier due to its naming. The 5600 is the better choice.

I experienced this same problem. I recently switched to the 5600X from a 2200G and am very satisfied. I note that clocks and cache respond differently when using an IGPU. Personally, I’d suggest it, though the 5600 isn’t terrible—just won’t reach the top performance of the 5600X.
