You just received a 5600X and an Asus TUF B550 Plus that might require a BIOS update. You're using Windows 10 and everything seems to function properly so far, but you're unsure if an update is necessary. You haven't updated BIOS on your previous motherboard before, even though it worked fine then, because Ryzen processors have seen many changes in their BIOS over time.

I identified my version as 1202. The latest releases mention updates like AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.1.0.0 Patch C and newer versions such as 1.1.9.0 and 1.2.0.0, along with a raid driver support, though I’m not using RAID.
