helo is it worth to upgrade now my 4770k or is better to wait when the consoles comes? is it worth to upgrade now my 4770k in 3600, 3700x 3800x or intel 10 gen when it arrives? or is better when ps5 and xbox comes then to upgrade?? also do you believe that the cpu of xbox and ps5 will be stronger from 3600,3700, 3800, and i9 9900k and etc? PS5 VS. XBOX SERIES X https://www.polygon.com/2020/3/31/211874...n-next-gen do you believe that the newest games will be hungry in 8 and 12 cores?? i see the specs of ps5 and xbox are PS5 vs. Xbox Series X specs xbox specs CPU: 8x Cores 3.8 GHz (3.66 GHz w/ SMT) Custom Zen 2 CPU GPU: 12 TFLOPS, 52 CUs @ 1.825 GHz Custom RDNA 2 GPU Die Size: 360.45 mm2 Process: 7nm Enhanced Memory: 16 GB GDDR6 w/ 320mb bus Memory Bandwidth: 10GB @ 560 GB/s, 6GB @ 336 GB/s Internal Storage: 1 TB Custom NVME SSD I/O Throughput: 2.4 GB/s (Raw), 4.8 GB/s (Compressed, with custom hardware decompression block) Expandable Storage: 1 TB Expansion Card (matches internal storage exactly) External Storage: USB 3.2 External HDD Support Optical Drive: 4K UHD Blu-Ray Drive Performance Target: 4K @ 60 FPS, Up to 120 FPS ps5 specs CPU: 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.5GHz GPU: 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz, RDNA 2 architecture RAM: 16GB GDDR6 Storage: Custom 825GB SSD Expandable storage: NVMe SSD slot Optical drive: 4K Blu-ray drive so the cpus of ps5 and xbox are the same like 3700 x and 3800 x do you believe that the cpu of xbox and ps5 will be stronger from 3600,3700, 3800, and i9 9900k and etc?

The insights from the older generation consoles are sufficient. They use AMD 8-core CPUs, but their desktop/laptop versions lag significantly behind modern graphics cards like the AMD 5700XT or RTX 2080. While we're moving toward more cores and threads with the Ryzen 1000 series, console performance remains largely unchanged. Even with high-end CPUs such as Ryzen 3000 or Intel i9-9900K, consoles shouldn't heavily influence your choice—opt for Ryzen 4000 or Intel 10-series instead. Zen2 on the Ryzen 3000 lineup offers similar performance to AMD Ryzen 3700X but at a lower clock speed. The Ryzen 3700X can reach up to 4.4 GHz, while being rated for around 65W; reducing power consumption would likely bring it down to roughly 30–40W. Adding the GPU, the total draw stays within 65–80W, which aligns with typical console specifications. In contrast, a top-tier gaming PC usually demands between 300W and 500W or more.

Which graphics card takes priority over the processor? The choice of GPU determines the appropriate CPU model. Your preferences shape this decision too. Also, understanding these connections is crucial. Are you currently playing specific titles? Are they performing as expected? Do you require enhanced performance? What GPUs or budgets are you considering?

It might not be the best approach right now. Both the original PSAs and Xbox models from 2013 are similar to your 4770. With a GPU upgrade, I can help you see which one performed better over time. The consoles will be strong when they come out—wait a few years before comparing their durability.
