It wasn't responding properly. My ODD failed to function as expected, so I used the "Express Button." When the system powered up or went into hibernation, my screen remained inactive.

All concerns are driver-related. Please reach out to your manufacturer.

It also required 12 hours of troubleshooting to set up the device, and once done I really disliked it. It also reported my GPU as an HD 7900 Series. The "Express Button" isn't a driver problem—it's more about privacy concerns!

I’m not familiar with the "Express Button" software, but it seems like a compatibility concern. Your troubleshooting might have included checking system requirements, ensuring proper drivers, and verifying hardware compatibility. Were you using any specific devices or operating systems?

I attempted to force an update but it failed. Then I tried using the download tool, which also didn’t work. After repeated attempts, I changed my country settings to US and language to US. It seems the hardware wasn’t compatible initially; once I switched, it worked better. The performance was slow, not due to driver issues. Interestingly, with the HD 7950 drivers, my GPU ran about 1% faster.

You seem confused! This message is quite disorganized and doesn't really convey a clear topic. What are you trying to ask or discuss?

I was talking about not updating and how frustrating it is fixing a broken updater. It seems my hardware might have been out of sync, so I just wanted it. In the end, the GPU driver problems actually helped me improve my Cinebench score a bit.

Why are you changing? A fresh install is usually the best choice. #2 If your equipment isn't compatible, reach out to the maker. #3 Real synthetic scores don't hold value; sometimes older drivers perform better in tests. Plus, until we stop accusing Microsoft for making each Windows update frustratingly tough, new hardware won't improve! Your point is strong—Windows 10 could be good, but these companies really struggle with upgrades!
