I'm currently on a 5600x, 32gb 3200 and RTX 5070 . In most of games I'm fine, but I'm noticing that Helldivers 2, MH Wilds, Marvel Rivals and The Finals really would benefit a lot from a better cpu even at 1440p. And the ones that don't benefit as much would still see better 1% and 0.1% 5700X3D isn't as cheap as it was last year but I saw it got discontinued? So my choices are either get a 5700x3d to try to squeeze out the most I can while spending the least, or try to got for an AM5 build that will cost more but would be worth it The question is, what AM5 cpu is equivalent to a 5700X3D that wouldn't cost a kidney? Would it be better to just grab a 5700X3D even at $240? I don't have a set budget in mind, but I'm looking for recommendations beforehand since of course I want to spend the least I can
The 5700X3D is a solid offer right now. The AM5 version will likely be around $7600 or $9600, so you'll need to spend over $400 to reach the best AM5 package. I recommend adding the 5700X3D for a better deal.
