if you stick with your existing setup, AMD is making some really cool updates with their APUs and the Halo version of Strix Point is set to (not completely destroy) Intel’s integrated graphics.
all this is still just speculation, nothing concrete yet.
AMD is creating impressive things using their GPUs with RDNA3 and similar tech.

I'm still unsure about what to do, but maybe next year prices will drop a bit. I really don't want to spend more than £1200 on the whole system, especially if I can get a GPU that fits that budget. It would be great if I could use it with my Xbox Series X.
Be honest with me if you can't afford it, building a PC isn't exactly cheap. If you do it right and don't focus too much on budgeting components to save money often, you usually run into problems later.
If you're interested in getting into PC building or gaming, I suggest investing in something like a 7600 non-x CPU, an A650 motherboard, a 6800xt graphics card, an Arc 770 GPU, a decent 850W PSU, a 280mm AIO cooler, some DDR5 RAM, a 6000 series RAM, and a 980pro 1TB SSD. A decent case with good airflow is recommended.
The advantage of using AM5 is that it offers more socket life. The 6700xt or 6800xt or Intel Arc 770 models have enough VRAM. With this setup, everything can be upgraded eventually. Upgrading your GPU will give you better graphics, and adding more HDD space is simple. An 850W unit is a decent choice for most mid to lower-tier cards and should last for some time. I'm planning to install a Noctua NH12A on my 7800X3D to test its performance during a rebuild of my main system. The NH12A should handle the 7600 non-x without any issues.
