The FBI has reported a malware threat targeting routers via VPNFilter. You should be aware of this issue. Restarting your router and updating passwords or settings is a good precaution, especially since your device is relatively new.

Suggest using your router's interface to look for available firmware upgrades. (Navigate to advanced>administration>router update). Occasionally, these updates can also clear passwords and adjust configurations.

The FBI suggested restarting the device. However, a colleague from the Secret Service told me they’re not very reliable. So... you should probably consider their advice carefully.
