In my BR HUEHUEHUEHE area the most affordable license for W10 64bit was about 500 BRL, roughly 130 USD. Taking into account the local minimum wage of 1.000 BRL (around 250 USD) is quite high. I purchased an SSD and didn’t want to spend on W10, so I began looking into Linux... now... the more I learn, the more I enjoy it. The amount of control and independence you gain is incredible, especially for someone graduating from an IT college like me. At work I’m required to use W10 (non-IT related tasks), so I customized it to resemble Pop!_OS because I really like it. Games aren’t my main interest these days; coding is what matters most to me.
