Hi everyone,
This is my first post, though I've been checking forums for some time. I'm currently facing problems with my WiFi and would appreciate some advice. First, I'll describe my setup: I'm in the UK with 100mb broadband. The router's WiFi performance is poor, so I switched to modem mode and purchased a TP-Link access point. Everything worked until recently when my connection became unstable or very slow. My devices still show strong signal bars, but sometimes they drop completely. I don't notice interference since I have a solid signal and live in a separate house with enough space between properties. Connectivity is limited to just one or two nearby networks, sometimes none during scans. I have Cat6 cable running through a gigabit switch, allowing me to place the access point anywhere in the house. I'm wondering if upgrading to a better access point would help, or if a mesh network might be more suitable. Thanks for your time!

Need to know the brands and models of all network equipment (excluding personal devices). Conduct speed tests with both ISP device and TP-Link device connected directly. Share test results here. Perform a wireless scan using WiFi Analyzer near the access point. Save screenshots of the 'Analyze' and 'Networks' sections. Hide any WAN or MAC addresses except for your SSID, but clearly show your network name. Tell me how many devices connect simultaneously, both wireless and wired. Provide a simple drawing of your home layout, marking key network devices.
