I'm considering between the Gigabytes GZ790 Aorus Elite with Wi-Fi 7 and the MSI Z790 Tomahawk Max with Wi-Fi 7. Both are currently priced similarly and offer comparable specs. You mentioned you'll install a 14700K and 32GB 7200MHz CL34 RAM in this motherboard. You also plan to add extra RAM and CPU for testing purposes. Need guidance on which one suits you better? Thanks!

The gigabyte offers a slight improvement in VRM (16 + 1 + 2 vs 16 + 1 + 1), both are excellent motherboards—just choose the one you prefer more.

The comment appears to be based on a misunderstanding. LGA 1700 CPUs with four PCIe lanes can indeed connect to an M.2 slot, and the issue described is more about compatibility with certain motherboards rather than a flaw in the CPU itself. It suggests checking your specific motherboard's PCIe lane configuration before deciding to upgrade.

Appears accurate according to the manual, quite surprising.

I thought at $300 it should be worth it! Will this affect performance or cause problems? I’m planning to install two M.2 SSDs.
