It depends. The 1600AF was reasonable when it cost under 100 euros, but now it's priced like a Ryzen 5 2600, which doesn't offer great value. The main concern is whether it delivers the performance you need. If it does, the extra 40 euros isn't worth it.

I got it around the end of March, actually. I didn’t see a reason to upgrade right away—just wondered if it could be a bit better prepared for what’s next. That idea is what led me here.

Check if you missed the improvement—you might not catch it again. Which resolution or refresh speed are you aiming for? Which titles are you playing? Can your display provide that quality?

I own a C24G1 from AOC. It runs at 1080p and 144Hz. Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 is working fine now. I'm unsure about Civ VI, Doom, Valorant, or Horizon Zero Dawn—maybe those could work too. Targeting should stay around 90/100Hz.

With the 1600AF in hand, I feel it’s too much effort—just maintain it. When deciding what to purchase next, the 3600 seems more advantageous overall.
