I evaluated three motherboard options for your 7700X setup with a 3080 Ti GPU. The focus was on long-term compatibility and stability without overclocking. I chose the Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX because it offers solid performance, reliable BIOS updates, and good support for future upgrades. It balances power efficiency with durability, making it a safe bet for now and beyond.

Do you have the 7700x ready? All those options fit that CPU, so just choose the feature set you prefer most.

It's waiting because I received it as a gift, but I still need to upgrade my system. I don't require advanced features like Wi-Fi or anything extra. I just want stability without affecting CPU or GPU performance.

Looking at the costs? You might want to grab a 5600 regardless of the cas type. DDR5 is optional here, as prices could be around 6600-7000, so save unless you're targeting a specific die from Hynix or similar OEM options.

They range from 300 to 450 euros here... 300 for ASUS, 400-420 for both GYGBytes. I was considering the 2x Kingston Fury Beast RGB KF552C40BBA-16 since it worked well with my past builds and Kingston never caused problems.

Absolutely, the ASUS board affects the cost. If you manage to locate a more affordable motherboard, don’t spend your money on low-quality branding. Most options from the same manufacturers—Micron, Samsung, Hynix—are essentially the same, so pick the cheapest 5600 and go.
