Before the standards came, I’d have chosen either option, but Intel’s situation is tough, so patience seems best.

Might as well wait for the 5000 to get in stock. I recommend setting an alert up for inventory. Intel Rocket Lake is the next launch and will probably be out in a 4 months or so which will put Intel and AMD neck and neck again. If you want something around Christmas then the 5000 series is really the only logical CPU option.

I’m curious about the differences between AMD and Nvidia’s stock situations. Both are expected to run out soon, but their timelines and reasons might vary. I’m not entirely confident about AMD’s restock schedule before the holidays.
