As mentioned in the title, my current antivirus (Norton) has expired. I’m wondering whether it’s a good idea to switch to a new one. I’m using Windows 8.1 (sorry if this isn’t the right spot).

I don't purchase antivirus software. I'm following the same approach as someone who shared it earlier. I use Malwarebytes (free) and Avast (free), and they work well for me!
