someone is offering a 1600x with an msi a320 board for around 6500 INR (about 80$) in my country. recently there were restrictions on advertising electronics listings, making it tough to find good deals. i don’t want to miss this opportunity—it looks promising. games have been improving since about two to three years ago, especially with titles like rdr2, which now take advantage of 6-core processors, offering better performance compared to my older 6600k.
For the Indian market it's a solid deal, though the CPU is quite outdated with just six cores. Pairing it with a GPU above 3070 would likely struggle to run modern games. It probably isn't being matched with that kind of hardware right now.
I believed 6 core was the ideal sweet spot in modern games. Still, I wondered why someone would invest in a 55k GPU paired with an older Ryzen costing ten times more than its new price. With that budget, I’d have assembled a full build using the latest components. I own a 1050 Ti used for half the cost of a brand-new one, and I’m a budget gamer.
