What purpose does it serve? If you're into gaming, the Ryzen 5 3600 is more than sufficient. The Ryzen 7 3800 is also great, but it's just a bit more powerful than needed.

These are not essential for gaming. I usually don’t mention this, but for serious overclocking and intense play, go with the 10900k.
