Hello, I need help choosing between these two RAM options. Both are 8GB DDR4 3600MHz and have the same specifications and price. One is RGB, the other isn't. The product names and links are provided below: Netac Shadow RGB 8GB DDR4 3600MHz Grey Desktop RAM and G.Skill Ripjaws V 8GB DDR4 3600MHz Black Desktop RAM. Which should I select? Thanks. My mainboard and processor details are as follows: Mainboard: Intel 13th Gen Core i3-13100 Raptor Lake Processor, Processor: BIOSTAR B660MX-E Micro ATX Motherboard.

g.Skill is a trusted brand for purchase. Netac might use someone else's RAM modules in their products. Without buying and inspecting them yourself, you can't be sure if they're from a reliable maker, so it's best to skip it. Gskill seems like the better choice.

I aimed for the RGB option within my budget, which is why I focused on getting the Netac model. Its price and features are comparable to G.skill.

Most people understand skill here, but Netac might work since they’re using other controllers and chips—they just package them. The RGB matters for you; if that’s important, Netac should be okay.

Thank you for the explanation. I'll give it a shot with Netac.
