Quick thought—should I list the 7900 XT or the 4070 Ti in the upcoming 5070 Ti initial test results? Right now I’m pressed for time and can only run one GPU before the deadline. I can add the others later, but for tomorrow, what do you think?

Who cares when the price is a thousand? You can summarize your review without actually testing it, like saying "Great GPU but not worth the price."
I mean, that seems clear to me. You need to contrast the new 70 ti with the earlier version. Did you actually think about leaving out the previous generation model in your evaluation? That’s the key factor.
The plan was to add it along with the 7900 XT, but time is almost up. The reason I didn’t include it first was that the 4070 Ti Super came out instead, which is a more immediate successor. The 4070 Ti wasn’t a top choice among GPUs because of its 12GB size and 192-bit interface. The 4070 Super offers similar performance, while the 4080 was a significant upgrade, and we should remember the canceled RTX 4080 12GB before the public reaction pushed Nvidia to change its name.
The 4070 and 4070 Super are more in demand, and even a year later the 4070 Ti Super has almost matched the market share of the discontinued 4070 Ti (with some caveats).
Now I’m testing the 4070 Ti and will definitely encounter backlash from frustrated AMD fans over not including the 7900 XT. 🤷♂️
I understand your perspective. However, I believe it's more useful to look at the previous non-super models versus the new ones. It's likely that a 5070 Ti Super will appear soon, making the comparison with the 4070 Ti Super more meaningful. This is just my view.
I would say the 7900 XT offers two comparable results at similar price levels, but I understand your concern. With a 4070 Ti already in it, the XT seems more valuable. You might end up with frustrated fans either way—flip a coin three times and see what happens? Still, you could use this as an opportunity to discuss it in a 9000 series review if you have time for more data on that model. Thanks for the reviews; I know you've been busy lately.
Ideally, you'd want both options. But it really comes down to the chart you're using right now. If you don't have any AMD cards listed yet, definitely include the 7900 XT. Also, the 4070 Ti and 4070 Ti S seem similar enough for people to guess how the missing one would perform. You might want to mention this a few times in the review.
Currently I have the following: 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, 4090, 4080 Super, 4070 Ti Super, 4070 Ti, and 7900 XTX. The plan is to add 7900 XT in the next two days after the initial update.
