Hello, I require some support, whether it's about improving certain parts or simply buying a new computer.
I have no prior experience with computers beyond building them; I’m not very skilled with technical details. While I understand there are websites like PCpartpicker that can assist in assembling a system, I still doubt whether I’m making the right choices.
My reason for joining this forum today is due to two main points:
1) My processor is quite old, so I’m considering an upgrade not just for the CPU but also the motherboard and RAM.
2) Or perhaps I should purchase a completely new computer outright.

Hardware Details:
- Motherboard: MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi (MS-7c79) (U3e1)
- CPU: Intel Core i3 10105F @ 3.70GHZ
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (MSI)
- RAM: 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1599MHz (22-22-22-52)
- Storage: 1863GB Kingston SNV2S2000G (SATA-2 SSD)
- Additional Storage Drives:
- Avolusion PRO-5Y SCSI Disk Device (USB, 39 °C)
- Lexar SL200 SCSI Disk Device (USB, 26 °C)
- Western Digital WD EasyStore 2624 USB Device (USB, 31 °C)
- Seagate BUP Portable SCSI Disk Device (USB, 32 °C)
- Western Digital WD EasyStore 264D USB Device (USB, 39 °C)
- Avolusion PRO-5X SCSI Disk Device (USB, 40 °C)

I would need to check the power supply once I have a better view of it.
My main goal is to set up a system capable of handling demanding games, especially when many markers are rendered, and to ensure smooth performance with multiple applications running without lag.
Additionally, if there’s anything else I should consider adding for optimal functionality, please let me know.

Since I’m completely new to this, any advice or guidance would be invaluable so I can continue learning moving forward.
Thank you.

I think it would be best to begin fresh. Check the link in my profile regarding upgrade or build suggestions, and share your thoughts here.

You could simply install an 11th Gen i7 but you'll have to replace the cooler (if you're using a standard stock one) with a more powerful model. Either a strong air cooler or an AIO would work. The ideal setting for Intel's DDR4 platforms was around DDR4-3200MHz to DDR4-3600Mhz with minimal delays.

The case is Gamdias, but I might want to consider upgrading it too since this was a pre-built PC from someone; I’m not entirely sure about the details.
