Consider enhancing your motherboard upgrade
I purchased a ready-made Asus unit from Best Buy (link provided) and am considering enhancing the internal components. I’m interested in a board featuring integrated WiFi and Bluetooth, though I already have the included card. Quiet operation with RGB lighting is important, as well as recommendations for CPU coolers and case fans. Additional suggestions for upgrades would be appreciated. The system is mainly used for offline gaming and everyday tasks. Out of the box it includes a Ryzen 5 3600 processor, Nvidia 2060 Super graphics, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz, a 512GB SSD with a 1TB HDD, and a 500W PSU (brand unknown). I’m looking for options that support low noise and possibly RGB features. Any other upgrades or advice would be welcome.
If you have funds available, choose an x570 (limited to b550 models) motherboard to facilitate upgrades for a more powerful CPU and additional parts. Based on my experience, Asus boards are highly recommended. For thermal management, opt for an NH-D15 if you plan to overclock future Ryzen 4000 chips or even the R5 3600X AIO, as other cooling solutions may not justify the cost in a budget build. It will help maintain lower temperatures. When it comes to fans, Corsair LL140 models are excellent choices—they offer quality and good RGB options.
