Hello, I understand your challenge. With Windows 7 32-bit and only 3.4 GB RAM, running BF4 might be tough. The W10 T preview could work, but it demands a good grasp of PC settings and software—something you're not entirely confident about. Would it be better to download the preview now so you can test it, or wait until July 29th for the full version? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
Just set up Windows 7 64-bit... you won’t be able to get a free upgrade from the Windows 10 tech preview.
What are your requirements? Is your setup capable of 64-bit processing?
No technical background required for the Win 10 tech preview. It’s essentially a refined upgrade from Win 8, offering all the advantages of Win 8 plus the benefits of Win 7.
The tech preview is really disappointing. It doesn’t cover everything, so I’m stuck. I can’t even run CS:GO or Skyrim anymore. Probably related to the DX12 beta version, which was tested before full release.
CPU is an i5-3330 running at 3GHz with four cores, paired with a GTX 750 Ti graphics card. The motherboard is MSI H61MA-E35 (B3). It features one 8GB RAM module from Crucial. The operating system runs W7 32-bit, and the storage is a Western Digital 1TB drive (brand unknown).
You should look for it elsewhere, since you already have something nearby. Piracy isn’t a good idea—your parents might disapprove. Also, it doesn’t work well with CSGO.
