Hello, I've been using a BT HomeHub for about five years now. It's slowing down over time, especially with six devices connected at once. A mesh network would help since there are many walls that block the WiFi signal. I also think my NAS might be affecting performance. I'm looking for affordable options around £250 to US$330. Any advice?

Maybe switch to a different supplier. I can't recall the name of the electricity service. Splitting the Wi-Fi into 5GHz and 2.4GHz seems reasonable; most routers work just fine without needing expensive upgrades.

I understand the issue, but the setup seems quite outdated. The home has multiple circuits and separate fuse boxes. The main concern appears to be the Wi-Fi connection, while Ethernet remains functional.

I've got outdated wiring, but it's still functioning properly. I'm seeing roughly 40 Mbps after a degradation of around 2.
