Consider getting Windows 8 now from G2A or hold off until Windows 10 launches. We can think that I don’t have the OS yet, so I’d need to purchase Windows 10 instead. Anyone know how much Windows 8 was new when it first came out without an upgrade? Also, are there any rumors or educated guesses about when Windows 10 will be released?

It doesn't matter. Windows 8 will receive a complimentary upgrade to Windows 10. If you require an operating system immediately, consider getting Windows 8 right away.
