Hello everyone, I’m thinking about swapping out my motherboard. I’ve been facing several problems lately and feel a fresh setup would be better. Everything else seems fine, but my board struggles with XMP profiles and is now failing to detect drives. I’ve been working on this for about a month and am now considering a new board just to test. My budget is around 200USD, open to a bit more but not too much. I’m looking for one with a PCIe Gen 4 slot for my CPU and another for an SSD. I still need two slots for my existing third-gen SSD. I’m leaning toward B550 or X570, preferably X570 since those usually have more USB 3 ports. I’d rather avoid MSI boards because they didn’t meet my expectations. Also, I have a Zen 2 Ryzen 5 3600x and plan to upgrade to something like the 5600x or Ryzen 7 5800x soon. I’m hoping the V-cache versions will be worth it.

I've tested Strix B550-F and it's performed well. I don't require many USB ports, though I'd be happy if it came with Wi-Fi support. My son could pair it with my 5600X, and together they run smoothly at 2000:1 and can hit 2100:1. The 5900X doesn't quite match up, but the board still reaches its maximum capacity.
