Check your BIOS for compatible settings for a 7900X. Adjust voltage slightly below the default to reduce power consumption while maintaining stability. Keep noise levels low by avoiding aggressive overclocking.

This largely comes down to your individual configuration and requirements. Essentially, you just need to activate XMP or EXPO—its presence and setup vary by motherboard. Without seeing your specific board, I can't provide exact instructions. It’s probably located in the main BIOS menu, likely under a straightforward option. For proper undervolting, you’ll need PBO and Curve Optimizer, but unless you’re comfortable with those tools, start by searching online for “PBO Ryzen 7000” to learn more.

i think we shouldn't alter anything beyond xmp. it seems you're unsure about other settings too, and I realize a computer might work better with defaults unless you're comfortable adjusting them.

I understand the context from Intel's naming conventions.
