Brand will largely depend on your location and stock availability. As long as you avoid junk shipped directly from China, you should be fine. You need a UPS capable of handling the full 1000 watts your power supply might require. Probably it never reaches that level, but if you go beyond it the protection circuits in a UPS will cut off the power as if you unplugged it abruptly. Be mindful that VA and watts are connected but not identical—check the details and see how many watts it can deliver. You’re likely to encounter a 1500VA model. The main reason for higher cost is wanting a sine wave, not just a simulated one. Modern computer power supplies are very sensitive to weak power. If budget is tight, remember you’re only using this simulated sine wave when running on battery. Depending on how often you lose power, it probably won’t be more than a few minutes each year.
