What cooler are you considering or intending to use? I usually suggest the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, provided it's accessible in your region, since it consistently tops performance benchmarks, just edged by liquid metal.
Noctua's NT-H1 offers solid thermal performance. Others might compare it favorably to Thermal Grizzly's Kyronaut, with Arctic MX-4 leading overall. I can't comment on these products since I haven't tried them personally. I used a tube of Arctic Silver 5 that's been around for at least five years; it didn’t leak or degrade, but the NT-H1 reduced peak temperatures by a couple of degrees in my synthetic bench tests.
Considering the ASUS Rog Ryujin 360 RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler paired with the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X on the ASUS ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero board, I’m thinking about using a metal liquid cooler. However, as a new builder, I’m hesitant due to safety concerns. Should I explore Thermal Grizzly’s Kyronaut instead?
It would be best to go with Arctic MX-4 or NT-H1 since they’re similar in performance. Other top-tier options should also be effective.
I purchased a large Arctic MX-4 tube, and based on its speed, I expect to use it for a long time—possibly until retirement.
The main issue with Thermal Grizzly's Kryonaut was the high cost per gram (around $10/g). That’s why I opted for the NT-H1, which offered a 10g tube for just $13. It’s clear you pay for what you get.
