IPMI seems really helpful for me now. I’m heading to a college dorm soon, and I won’t be able to bring my server with me. Having full remote access would be great. Currently, I install the OS using a monitor and keyboard, then switch to SSH afterward. But connecting via SSH isn’t working because the monitor connection fails.
