Wait for Zen 3 Sky Lake to provide significant gains from faster RAM. Adjust the VCIO and VCCSA to 1.1 and test with 2666. If successful, run memtest86 and OCCT to ensure stability. If you're happy with the existing performance, hold off.

I don’t have the ability to change RAM speed or set an XMP profile. I’m also not interested in upgrading unless it’s more affordable.
