Hello everyone! I'm thinking about building a small beowulf cluster of raspberry pi 2s (2 or 3 for the time being). The simpler method would involve each device having its own os, however that limits the capabilities of the system and is much more annoying to maintain. I'm looking for an operating system that can treat the whole cluster as a single machine. Does anyone know if there is any such thing that can run on a pi? Can I get arch linux to do that with proper network file system management? Thanks for any answer and I apologize for the hard question ^^ here's a potato powered raspberry pi as a bonus:
Another approach is suggested, though it requires matching the same setup on every machine and adjusting it manually. I understand it will take a long time, but it should suffice for this trial I didn’t intend to run anything meaningful. It’s just something I’m curious about. Do you think there are any operating systems that can be shared across several machines?
