Recently experienced internet problems, websites load slowly on all devices. Speed tests show normal performance, but traceroute reveals repeated timeouts at each step. There have been multiple instances of this issue.

Restart your router; if it doesn’t resolve the issue, reach out to your ISP for assistance.

Is your router supplied by your ISP (along with your modem)? If yes, it appears they’ve configured it to block certain ICMP packets besides ping. Ping and traceroute both rely on ICMP, but the exact packet type differs. You probably won’t be able to fix this except by using a different router.

I'm not sure why your router isn't working—it should be the initial fix. Unless you're using a VPN on your device?

What router is connected? Could you check if I can verify this problem by testing it from another device on a different network, or from another device within the same network?
