For mobos equipped with built-in Wi-Fi such as the Asus CH7, modifying the Wi-Fi adapter is generally not feasible. Switching from Wi-Fi 5 to Wi-Fi 6 on these devices is not supported.

It varies; some boards have the Wi-Fi chip installed while others don't. I didn't see a photo of the Wi-Fi on the Asus board, so I can't confirm.

Yes, it appears to be visible only when examining the board, not through the specifications.

The technical details might not mention it as "removable" or "upgradeable," but you can easily get the spec sheet and check. Are you searching for a motherboard that supports an upgradable Wi-Fi chip?

Unfortunately, a GIS won't assist due to those clumsy covers everyone developers appear to try to hide on the motherboard.

You're looking for an upgrade beyond the standard 2x2 card found with the ch6/7, but you're finding it hard to see the details because of the shroud.
