Can I link two computers using four USB 3.0 adapters and achieve performance comparable to a 10GB Melanox network card? I’m not sure if anyone has done this before. If not, what number of adapters would be needed? Thanks, Scott

It looks like four USB cross-over cables might be more trouble than a Cat7 network cable. I’d rather go with the MiOx.

This situation could work if you're moving several smaller files together, as one large file would take over the same path. It's a cool "what if" idea, but in practice, a 10Gb networking card will perform much better overall.
