Connection speed fluctuating frequently
Connection speed fluctuating frequently
Hi. I just got my PC back from repair (turns out there wasn't anything wrong with it, just had wrong RAM) and now my download speeds are going up and down constantly 100KB/s - 7MB/s. It's not random. It goes down & up constantly, perfectly. Even though I have 100MB/s internet, wired, it doesn't go over 7MB/s (should be floating around 11MB/s - 12.5MB/s) This is a pretty fresh installation of windows so I have no viruses or anything. Another thing that is most likely related to this, is that I can't install 3 of my windows updates, with the error code 0x80071a91. I also tried to reset Windows Update Components which didn't help. What is going on? Did they change my internet settings or something? Thanks in advance.
It functioned properly before. Uncertain about having another cable, but it would be wise to give it a shot.
You're currently using Windows Defender and have turned it off. You're starting GlassWire to investigate further.
