Hello! It seems the issue began a few weeks ago after installing Firefox. When I power on my PC, the network adapter lists the cable as unplugged, but after about a minute it appears normal. The problem happens both on the built-in LAN and with the 10G NIC using the same cable. Could you offer any possible explanations? Thanks in advance!

I've experienced the same issue before, linked to WinPcap or Npcap.

Maybe it's your switch or whatever device is connected.

I simply removed Npcap and then reinstalled it. That resolved the issue.

You're linking your PC to a device with STP support. This feature helps prevent network loops by ensuring proper routing. When the connection is confirmed, the system performs checks and allows traffic only if no loops exist.

Just remove and reinstall it later. It's still required for Wireshark/Nmap.

I link to the switch that hasn't been modified after installing my NIC, which functioned well for a couple of weeks. It's also an unmanaged model (Asus XG-U2008). Alright, but there remains a slight lag. I'll restart it several times and see if it improves.
