Hello everyone, welcome! I've observed a significant drop in my download speeds lately—Steam is now around 6-7mb/s instead of the usual 30-35mb/s. This issue appears across all platforms, not just gaming ones. I've tried updating my network and WiFi drivers, but nothing helped. I double-checked if Steam was limited, it wasn't. I also tested plugging in and unplugging my LAN cable, rebooting the PC a few times, and even ran a speed test on my phone versus my computer. The results are stark: my PC shows 43.74 down and 39.67 up, while my phone reports 402 down and 40.7 up. It's really puzzling since I'm not very familiar with networking or internet stuff. I also forgot to include my system specs and OS version in the notes. Thanks for any assistance you can provide! Best regards, Nick

What type of cable is this? Are there alternative Ethernet cables available for swapping and testing? Could a different computer on the network be used, or should I connect a laptop to the same cable to check performance? These details will assist in identifying the issue. Good luck!

No, I haven't power-cycled the router yet.
