Hey everyone, I've noticed some major connectivity problems with my rig when playing OW, COD or BF2. Characters keep floating, sinking, or bumping into walls, and I often get stuck in the map. At first I thought it was a bad Wi-Fi adapter (TP-Link Archer T9E AC1900), but since my partner uses the same one without issues, I’m wondering if something else is at play. We recently swapped adaptors between us and still had problems, even after switching. Could my motherboard or CPU be limiting the internet connection? I’m considering the CPU since I went with a cheaper model. Thanks all! GTX1080, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, i3 8350K, ASUS Prime Z-370

It's more likely the WiFi signal is unstable, possibly affected by interference from other devices, rather than your partner's PC.

Your i3 should handle those games just okay. There might be a slowdown between the CPU and GPU, which Alex mentioned is an interference problem.

We share the same desk for many years. This problem only happened last month. I’ll try a different position and check if it makes a difference.
